Moon bears are an endangered species. They are being hunted for their bile, which serves pharmaceutical usage by containing a component UDCA Quoting as a wiki fillers:

So many facts like this seem irrelevant, and moon bears shoold not be hunted for their bile, but these horrible chinese bile farms may still have brisk business because of some factors:
- Are the people in China aware of such a product, and therefore stop being reliant on bear bile ?
- Is the product readily accesible?
- Would the chinese continue ignoring these articles and reports and do nothing to change?
A quote from a website too includes that the bears were thin, and put under a lot of stress, riddled with parasites, draining pus and pain from the gall bladder. Rightfully, as moon bears are an endangered species, they should not be used for their medicinal properties, as this makes even more danger to their extinction. Defining bile, it actually has less medicinal or at most the same medicinal properties as drugs that do the same thing, and can be mass produces using horse bile. But maybe as moon bears are rarer, they may create bette bile, but however this is not true. OFten the peoples mindset may contribute to the brisk business for these Chinese men.
So I urge you. Change your mindset about medicinal properties in animals. I remphasize.
Bring a heart. Animals have lives too. Save the moon bear.
